How I miss traveling with my family… the WHOLE family!!
Up until I was 18, my family always traveled at least twice a year. When I went off to college, the chances of us traveling together was almost none. And when Le Jue went off to college, we never traveled together again.
Winter 2006 the Hsieh Family went to Hong Kong together for a wedding but we pretty much roamed the place on our own due to differ hotel locations.
However, Summer 2007 was awesome. Papa Hsieh, Mama Hsieh and Big Sis’ Hsieh went to Europe for the first time (too bad Le Jue couldn’t go)!!! And Hsieh Family ventured to Malaysia… ALL FIVE OF US!! We stayed at two hotels but for some reason I can only remember staying at Shangri-La’s Rasa Ria Resort, Kota Kinabalu. Not because the first hotel was bad… it was five star and as good as Shangri-La, if not better. But because of it’s name… I think it’s owned by a Malaysian corp so the name was super long…
